How in-play betting works

Live betting means we open (and keep re-pricing) markets after a match has kicked off, so instead of locking in a price at 20:00 you can wait, read the flow of play, and place your bet at 20:23 when the underdog wins a corner. Our odds update on a sub-second tick for the top football and basketball feeds and every two to three seconds for the rest — the number you see is the number you get, provided you confirm before the next refresh. Between refreshes we may pause a market for a few seconds around a goal, a red card, a wicket, a timeout or a video review, then reopen it at re-priced odds. That short suspension is normal and it's how every serious sportsbook handles a game-changing event.

Latency depends on your connection: on a stable 4G or home broadband we deliver market updates 3 to 8 seconds behind the live TV picture. If you're watching on our free stream, the stream and the coupon are synced, so tactics like betting the next goal off a corner run in real time. If you're watching on satellite TV you'll be roughly 6 to 10 seconds behind our feed — good to know before you place a "next 60 seconds" market.

Sports we cover in-play

Depth scales with the fixture — a Champions League tie or a Grand Slam final unlocks the full 500-market coupon, whereas a mid-tier Table Tennis match runs a leaner 40-market book with the essentials.

Bet types available

We list the same core bet types across sports (with sport-specific wrappers on top). Here's the shortlist you'll actually use in-play:

• Moneyline / match winner — the straightforward pick of who wins, with the draw offered where the sport allows it (football, ice hockey). Prices swing hardest around goals and momentum shifts.
• Spread / handicap — one side gets a virtual head start; the other has to make it up. Common in basketball, American football and ice hockey where score differentials matter.
• Totals (over/under) — bet whether the combined score/goals/points finish above or below a line we set. In-play we keep re-pricing the line as the clock burns.
• Both teams to score (BTTS) — football-only, live throughout the 90. Odds shorten sharply after the first goal.
• Correct score — pick the exact final. In-play the price tree collapses as time runs down, so late-game entries can be sharp value.
• Prop bets — sport-specific side markets: next goalscorer, next player to score, next team to a corner, first to a timeout, first to a set. This is where the 500-market coupon depth actually shows up.
• Accumulator / parlay — stack multiple in-play selections on one slip for compound odds. Cash Out remains available on the whole accumulator, not just the singles.
• Bet Builder — stitch multiple markets from the same fixture into one custom bet ("Man City to win + over 2.5 goals + Haaland to score"). Priced live, adjustable up to placement.

Cash Out

We offer Cash Out on singles and on accumulators, with partial Cash Out available on both — take out a slice of your stake and let the rest ride. The button sits on your bet slip on both desktop and mobile; the value refreshes as the price of your selection moves. Typical processing when you tap is instant to 3 seconds, but the button greys out briefly around suspended markets (a goal about to be given, a video review in progress, a serve about to land). We reopen Cash Out the moment the market re-prices.

What you'll actually get back reflects current live odds vs the odds you took: if the match has swung your way, Cash Out returns more than your stake; if it's swung against you, less. There's no fee — the number you see on the button is the number that lands in your wallet.

Live streaming

Live streaming is free for logged-in players on the matches we hold rights for — no minimum stake, no "wagered in the last 24 hours" gate. Availability is match-by-match: we mark streamable fixtures with a small play icon on the coupon. Quality auto-scales from 480p up to HD (720p or 1080p) depending on your connection — on home broadband you'll usually get HD, on 4G mobile you'll typically land 720p, on patchier signal we drop to 480p to keep the feed running.

Streams work in the same browser tab as your bet slip on both desktop and our PWA — no separate app, no separate login. Data use for HD is roughly 200-350 MB per hour, so on a metered connection you may want to drop to 480p from the stream controls.

Decimal vs fractional odds

We show UK-friendly odds both ways — decimal or fractional — and you flip between them in My account > Preferences. The underlying maths is identical, only the presentation changes:

• Decimal (2.50) — the number is your total return per £1 staked. A £1 bet at 2.50 returns £2.50 total (£1.50 profit + your £1 stake back).
• Fractional (3/2) — the fraction is your profit per stake. A £1 bet at 3/2 returns £2.50 total (£1.50 profit + £1 stake). Same bet, same return.

Rule of thumb for conversion: decimal odds = (fraction) + 1. So 3/2 = 1.5 + 1 = 2.50; 4/1 = 4 + 1 = 5.00; 1/2 = 0.5 + 1 = 1.50. Every price on our coupon carries both formats internally, so switching mid-session doesn't change any of your open bets — they settle at exactly the odds you took.

Mobile in-play

Our full sportsbook runs inside our PWA (Progressive Web App) — install it from Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android via "Add to Home Screen", and it behaves like a native app without needing the App Store or Play Store. Live coupons load in under 2 seconds on 4G, one-tap bet placement is enabled by default (you can toggle a confirmation prompt on if you prefer), and biometric login (Face ID / fingerprint) keeps re-entry under 3 seconds — useful when you want to place a late-swing bet before the next play.

You can follow any match to get push notifications for the events you care about — goals, red cards, breaks of serve, timeouts — and tap straight from the notification back into the coupon. Push notifications are opt-in, per fixture, and you can mute them from the same place you enabled them.
